Art Heals. Meow. Caps
LIMITED SUPPLY!!
It’s been quite sometime since I’ve made a new “Art Heals” project and now seems like the perfect time! I had planned to have this for all of May but better late than never I guess! The month of May is pretty important to me: it’s my birthday month, the birthday month of some of my favorite people, it’s AAPI Heritage Month, and it’s National Pet Month. As you all know, I love all animals, dogs, elephants… and most of all cats… the best pet of all🤪 Because of that, this “Art Heals” project will honor National Pet Month and will aim to raise money for Charles River Alleycats. CRA is a nonprofit focusing on humane solutions for stray cats around Boston. They are the group that prevents street cat populations from multiplying and are the link that gets homeless cats from the street into shelters for adoption. Their vision is that every friendly cat has a loving home and every community cat is sterilized, vaccinated, and cared for in their territory. I was lucky enough to adopt a cat that was found by the Charles River Alleycats. And I couldn’t imagine my home without my little Alleycat roaming around🥰. I really believe in this organization and the good they do. I hope this little project gives back and shares as much happiness and care that they do with every cat life they touch😻
I thought a summer cap(in two colors)would be a fun way to sport this beautiful design by John Rines Munro. The design portrays a rose(a little part of me) and an outline of one of my kitties, Rue, who I think has one of the best profiles in the game. And of course, the back has the signature “Art Heals. Meow.”
